The following industry standards are recommended: FIRST TIME BUYER: 1 bedroom flat – 1 wardrobe box; 2 large boxes; 5 medium boxes & 6 small boxes 2 bedroom flat – 2 wardrobe boxes; 4 large boxes; 4 medium boxes and 7 small boxes FAMILY MOVE: 2 bedroom house: - 3 wardrobe boxes; 8 large boxes; 8 medium boxes and 7 small boxes 3 bedroom house: – 4 wardrobe boxes; 10 large boxes; 10 medium boxes; 30 small boxes 4 bedroom house: - 5 wardrobe boxes; 15 large boxes; 15 medium boxes and 30 small boxes
EMIGRATING: As all your possessions require to be packaged properly, the above will be relevant plus that bit extra – this will depend upon the size of your move and items being transported – we will assist you with your requirements on a one to one basis.
2. What are the differences between single wall and double wall boxes?
Double wall boxes give you a higher degree of protection to your goods as opposed to single wall as this material is 5mm thick as opposed to 3mm thick. – better stacking strength etc. 3. Bubble wrap in 300mm size is ideal for ornaments and small items Bubble wrap in 500mm size is ideal for kitchen ware and larger ornaments Bubble wrap in 750mm size is ideal for pictures and small items of furniture 5. What do people use acid free tissue paper for? To wrap wooden furniture eg furniture with highly polished surfaces that may mark if newsprint is used. 6. How long will it be before I get my packaging? Your packaging will be delivered to your designated address within 2 working days of ordering so long as your order is received before 12 noon and your payment is cleared, however, if you require a quicker delivery, a premium delivery charge can be paid to ensure a faster delivery.

8. Are the boxes recycled? Our boxes are currently not recycled.
9. Are the boxes printed? Our boxes are plain to ennsure your anominity.
10. Have the boxes been used before? The boxes you purchase are brand new and have never been used before.
11. Why can’t I get boxes from my local supermarket? New environmental legislation now regulates the disposal of packaging from large users eg supermarkets which stipulates that all packaging waste must be compacted and recycled or large fines will be levied by governmental bodies.
12. How many rolls of tape will I need for the boxes? A roll of tape has 66m per roll, therefore will seal approximately 80 small boxes or 45 large boxes, but remember how many other things will require to be taped also eg bubble wrap, polythene etc.
13. What is the best way to pack my ornaments? Ornaments are best wrapped in bubble wrap, sealed and then boxes carefully. Ornaments can be boxed individually or carefully with other fragile items. Boxes containing fragile items should be designated clearly on the outside.
14. Do you have a box big enough for my computer or TV? Yes our boxes within the ‘large box’ section will generally be suitable for most electrical goods, however, if these boxes are not large enough, these items can be transported safely whilst wrapped in bubble wrap.
15. How can I secure very large items during transit? Large items can be difficult to pack – if you cannot source a box large enough, edge protectors, bubble wrap and tape will ensure your goods arrive in pristine condition during the move.
16. Can I order these boxes for other purposes other than for moves? Yes, these boxes can also be purchased for storage of items, retail purposes and industrial purposes
17. Can I get a discount for a bulk order? All discounts are stipulated throughout the site, but if larger bulk quantities are required on a regular basis, please contact us direct on 01294 313348 and this matter can be discussed further.
18. How long have you been trading for? We have been trading for the past six years within packaging and have been supplying packaging for removals for the past two years.
19. Are the boxes waterproof? No, however, if adverse weather conditions are experienced whilst moving, the boxes will protect your goods during transit but will not be suitable for long term use within damp conditions. If you require further advice, please contact us on 01294 313348.
20. What happens if my packaging arrives damaged? Please contact us on 01294 313348 and the situation will be investigated internally with our courier and replacement forwarded to you.
21. How strong are the boxes? Most of the boxes are made to Ministry of Defence standards and are therefore made to high quality and are made from high strength materials, however, the strength of a box is only as good as the quality of the packing within it.
22. Can you recommend any local tradesmen in my area? This is a future development of this site to assist you locate suitably qualified tradesmen in the area of your new home.
